Social Media Tip: Blogging

As many of you know, I am a keynote speaker — sought by corporations, associations and meeting and conference planners. My topics relate to inspiration, change management, takings risks and stepping outside the comfort zone. If you’re interested in my speaking business, I have a website complete with video clips and other resources.

As a professional speaker, I am active in the NSA (not what you’re thinking, it’s the National Speakers Assocation) where I serve on a special committee focused on helping members use social media. Recently, I was asked to provide various social media tips that would applicable not only to speakers, but to any business. I decided the best way to share these tips was through social media. And because video is the fastest growing “content segment” in social media, I decided to provide my tip via video. The response has been great.

A business or corporate blog is an essential component of any social media or digital marketing mix. The benefits are enormous. Originally intended for NSA membership, I thought for those of you blogging, this would be relevant. If you haven’t establsihed some sort of blogging strategy or corporate blog, it’s time to get moving. Call me if you’d like some help.
